Coaching is the best investment. It’s investing in yourself.

“Coaching is the best investment. It’s investing in yourself.” Julie Matheson, transformational coach

I recently attended a virtual conference and had an “aha” moment when I heard Julie say those words. This is the best way to explain to people why they need a career coach. Sure, people can learn how to write a resume from googling it. But working with someone with a background in job search strategies saves you a lot of time! It also provides you with someone who you can dialogue with about your skills and your aspirations, someone who can suggest directions that you might not have previously considered.

Here are some of the benefits you get when working with a career coach:

· Increased job search skills

· Emotional support

· Perspective and insight

· Accountability and feedback

· Increased energy in your journey for career fulfillment

Sometimes it’s hard to start a process without any guidance. Hiring a career coach is a great investment. It’s investing in yourself!
